Janet Jackson
As the wife of Melvin L. Jackson, and the mother of two boys (Desmond Thomas & Melvin L. Jackson II) Janet enjoys family time, taking care of her grandson, and being active with her three God children. Jackson is a God fearing woman who felt the need to touch the community through sharing testimonies. Her church home is Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist church in Shreveport, Louisiana, under the leadership of Pastor Robert Canada. She is a faithful servant as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher, a powerful intercessory prayer warrior, and is apart of the Women’s Ministry. Jackson looks forward to strengthening others as she fulfills her purpose through building up the kingdom of God. One of her favorite scriptures is, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10-KJV
